His passion for cooking was inherited from his family in Bologna, as well as the unique culture of the town. Today, this passion is expressed through his plates and creations at Mamma Pizza. To make the best pizza he uses fresh, seasonal ingredients exclusively from Italy. He is building the shop with patience and perserverance, simply because he believes that pizza makes people happy. This is what everything at Mamma Pizza is based on, from the interior to the menus. Lucas enthusiasm has brought him to experiment with new pizzas using seasonal ingredients, such as “La Cremosa”, a pizza made with pumpkin cream. This pizza was among the three finalists at the Norwegian pizza making championship at the “Smak” fair in 2014.
Currently Mamma Pizza is run by Luca and his brother Davide, together with three young Italians. In only six months, Mamma Pizza has become one of the top ranked restaurants in Oslo at TripAdvisor, and has earned an excellent reputation among the pizza connoisseurs of Oslo.
